DoS attacks. How did It happen to Takeads?

Takeads has recently been subjected to a Denial-of-Service (DoS) attack. This has happened to other services and platforms of the Mitgo group, which Takeads is part of.

The attack caused disruption and temporary downtime for some of its services, resulting in inconvenience for its customers.

A DoS attack is a malicious attempt to disrupt the regular traffic of a targeted server or network by overwhelming it with a flood of traffic or requests. The goal of a DoS attack is to render the target system unavailable to its intended users. The attackers achieve this by using a network of compromised devices, also known as a botnet, to send a massive amount of traffic to the target system, causing it to crash or become unresponsive.

Our systems were hit by a massive flood of traffic, which temporarily affected the company’s ability to provide certain services. One of the most pressing issues that arose from the attack was the service disruption of SMS notifications to webmasters. This resulted in the stop of automatic payments

The Takeads technical team is working around the clock to restore services and fix vulnerabilities in the system. At the moment, we have already implemented additional security measures to mitigate the consequences of such attacks in the future.

How to get paid now?

Since automatic payments are not working now, you need to write to our technical support at contact@takeads.com and inform them that you want to receive a payout. Our specialists will create a request manually, and you will receive your funds soon.

We acknowledge the inconvenience caused by the attack and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused customers. We are taking all necessary steps to protect our systems from attacks in the future.
